I change mine a lot, so they're from a variety of different places
Quotes
I've been looking around at people's quotes and whilst doing this wonder why you chose them?
I keep changing mine it seems to depend on what mood I'm in but the one I have now means a lot to me right now
So come on guys and gals why pick the quote you have
Does it mean something to you or was it just a bit of fun

I think it's MonSTer who's got the first one I thought of, 'Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so'
Mine has changed, yes. It is apt. It will change in time I have no doubt
Mine's just a philosophy-of-life thing... I might change it at some point in the future, but not any time soon.
My last one was from Calvin and Hobbes, great philosophers that they are
This one is from Bill Hicks, changed it after listening to him again the other night.

A part quote, the full being: "And we'll be saying a big hello to all intelligent lifeforms everywhere. And to everyone else out there, the secret is to bang the rocks together guys."
Homage to Douglas Adams :/

Mine is a bumper sticker that cracked me the hell up. And I'm known for my lazi--err, fondness for sleep.
It's occurred to me since I posted it that this could be taken as a double entendre. But you know--I'm just too lazy to change it.

My previous quote ('I love being me)' is from a great comic book series I was lent, called 'The Authority' (quothe by a character redolent of DC's Batman, as he drives a spaceship the size of a city into the bad guy's tower base, grinning the while...).
It's subject to change, depending on how I feel about stuff.

My quote - it kind of sums up my adult life really!
A friend sent me a postcard with it on, as she knew it would apply perfectly to me!
Mind you I have appreciated that spending time with the children, and helping them realise that the world needs changing is probably a better way of dealing with the situation - maybe they will go out and make the changes I couldn't. A babysitter usually doesn't have, or doesn't impart the same principles on children as a parent can. (all dependant on the quality of parent/childcarer of course - but in my experience!)
Another favourite quote: "If high heels were so comfortable - men would still be wearing them"!

"Tiger, tiger, burning bright... Watch out! You'll set the jungle alight!"

Mines something that I mate said to me...I later found out it was from the late, great Spike Milligan.
Mine likewise - a small homage
Originally I had "The nature of Monkey was irrepressible!" - because I like the show!
I'm sure mine will change according to my whim
