Sweet-sange reminded me of this really cool friendship poem I got a while ago which made me smile....actually most of you probably have it already but I'll post it for those who might not...
Are you tired of all those mushy "friendship" poems that always sound good but never actually come close to reality? Well, here is a "friendship" poem that really speaks to true friendship and truth itself!
>
> **********************************************
> Friend,
>When you are sad, ...I will get you drunk and help you plot revenge against the sorry b*****d who made you sad.
> When you are blue, ...I'll try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
> When you smile, ...I'll know you finally got laid.
> When you are scared, ...I will tease you about it every chance I get.
> When you are worried, ...I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and to stop whinging.
> When you are confused, ...I will use little words to explain it to your dumb a**.
> When you are sick, ...stay away from me until you're well again. I don't want whatever you have.
>When you fall, ...I will point and laugh at you.....
This is my oath, ...I pledge 'til the end. Why you may ask?
Because you're my friend!
Send this poem to ten of your closest friends and get depressed because you realize you only have 2 friends, and one of them is not speaking to you right now anyway.
P.S. A friend will help you move. A really good friend will help you move a body.
hope you like

Very sweet little poem though
Astronut What I wouldn't give for a lasso and some crazy glue...
Reminds me of the Irish guy's friend in "Sliding Doors". The one he meets down the pub and to whom he tells his woes: I've been seeing somebody behind my girlfriend's back, and now they both want to kill me (or something like that ).
Friend looks at him, then falls about laughing ...
Now, that's friendship
Miss Edith People don't fall in love with what's right in front of them. People want the dream -- what they can't have. The more unattainable, the more attractive.

Really liked that.
