Unfortunate advert
So C5's showing Starship Troopers, and what's one of the adverts that gets shown during it? A recruitment ad for the army cadets.
I really hope that this was random chance or that somebody's completely missed the point, because if it was a deliberate decission then somethings very wrong!

LMFAO! My Dad was (until recently) a Sergeant Instructor in the Army Cadet Force, now I'm getting images of him yelling Full Metal Jacket style and chucking knives at cadets just like Drill Instructor Zim ("Why do we have to do this anyway? It's all nuclear weapons nowadays. All you have to do is press a button-- *thump* AAAAGGGH!" ) Crazy!

I once went to a military history/re-enactment event. The Army (not sure if it was Regular or Territorial) had a recruiting booth there, complete with Sargeant with big handlebar moustache. At one point we saw 3 Waffen SS re-enactors in the queue to see him. Damn, wish I'd photographed that...
