For some reason, when I click the Radio button on Media Player (version 10, methinks) nothing happens. Odd, no?
Shugs - media player sucks. Try http://www.shoutcast.com - they have tons of stations. If media player doesnt work with that, use Winamp.

I seem to be the only person in existence who actually prefers Media Player to Winamp. Always the awkward git...
You're not the only one, I do to, mainly on account of the fact that winamp "sucks" if you ewant decent sound quality. As for programs "sucking" none of them do really, it's all just personal preferance.
www.phantomfm.com all rock all the time

On internet radio stations, or in general?
You need somewhat higher bitrates with MP3 streaming than with Windows media, but then check out shoutcast.com and you'll find plenty of stations at 128Kbit + that will sound better than most DAB stations..
Thank you

www.lounge-radio.com/ occasionally, but I usually just play stuff from my mp3 collection.
Do you mean that an example MP3 you have sounds better in Microsoft's than in Winamp? Shouldn't do really unless you have something funny in your setup. AFAIK Winamp uses the Fraunhofer Codec for MP3, and seeing as Fraunhofer invented MP3 i'd reckon on their's being pretty reasonable. And i was under the impression the MS also use Fraunhofer MP3 codec.

Just in general. As far as offline goes it's stupid considering I convert my mp3s at 320kbps
You might wanna try turning off "Equalisation" in Winamp. Particularly the pre-amp - turning it up just pushes the signal into clipping - it's pretty pointless.
Wandering off, I've found that plenty of new music is mastered so badly now with wads of audio compression (not data compression) and deliberately clips that it sounds awful on anything other than a boombox or a kak stereo.
