I don't watch the show (I saw one episode), but you have a lot of company in the US. About 22 million people watched the last episode, which is huge. It is constantly promoted and cross-promoted by ABC (the network that broadcasts it in the US). It is discussed endlessly, and you can't turn on the television without seeing an ad for it, an entertainment story on it, or one of the stars as a guest on a talk show. Frankly, the publicity machine for that show in the US is so intense that it's downright annoying at this point. And I think my reaction to it--not watching--is in part a reaction to having it shoved down my throat morning, noon, and night. I think it's probably entertaining, but there are shows on TV that are better that don't get half the attention.
But to answer your question more directly, you're certainly not alone. People love this program and it seems to be a hit in several countries where it is being shown.
