Hope the litigation goes well, mate, and that your sister and Eleanor get the compensation they so deserve. Your post makes for some scary reading indeed, especially as it was so preventable.
Baby Update
There hasn't been a baby update in yonks so thought i'd put in an update to say how Eleanors getting on. Shes now 2 years and 3 months. She still can't sit up yet or crawl due to her back still being very week. She can sort of say 'hiya' though if she tries. She currently loves Balamory, especially PC Plum! As well as Hi-Fi, which I have to admit i've taken a bit of a shine to, is it Kate and Charlie? the fit ones? The solicitor has finally got ***** hospital to release Eleanors notes, which was a nightmare for her to get hold of, and has had them looked over by a specialist. He seems to think its one of the worst cases of neglect hes ever seen. Not only was Eleanor in danger of almost dying but so was my sister. They left her on a special drip which stetches the womb, which they put her on cuz she was so over due, but then left her on there for at least 7 hours, this means the womb kept stretching, and within that time her womb could have burst and the fluids got in her blood stream and she could have died in minutes. Hopefully this shouldn't mean she can't have any more children as it should have now gone back to its normal size. So they are sueing ***** hospital for neglect and cause of Eleanors condition. Because the solicitor seems to think they have a lot to back up the case they are going to attempt to sue for 4-5 million which will then go towards Eleanor. Theres a few things we've seen which may help her, a place in somerset has this thing where you keep feeding brain damaged children oxygen, and leave them on oxygen for days, this is supposed to help the brain to repair itself. Theres also many other ways to improve on Eleanors condition such as seeing special psysio hospitals in foreighn countrys. All this will obviously cost a lot of money so hopefully if we do win 4-5 million on the court case this will greatly help her out.

Just echoing what Whistler has already said... wishing your family best wishes and fingers crossed that the litigation is succesful. It made very scary reading indeed.
Talking about baby updates...
Hannah just turned 4 last weekend. She's been in pre-school for almost a year, absolutely loves it. She starts reception class in September. She's tall for her age, (3ft 5 1/2" ) and is probably one of the tallest in her class, she has huge green eyes and honey blonde hair that is almost waist length with a lovely curl in the bottom that can be a pain to look after.. Hannah also loves Hi-5 (I think that's who you meant Spike ) and she and Joel will be seeing them live in Newcastle next month (not that they know anything about it ). She's doing exceptionally well, is a funny, happy loving little girl forever asking questions and chattering away a mile a minute. She doesn't stop talking from the moment she wakes up til the moment she goes to sleep at night. She loves books, music...she currently adores Gwen Stefani and loves her CD, she's learning to write her name and is starting to recognise certain letters. From such precarious beginnings, she's just doing so well right now.
