LMAO - No but I lie to double glazing salesman and cold-calling people on the phone. I make up jobs, holidays, ongoing construction work and additional members of the family, who may or may not have recently had ebola virus, but are feeling much better now etc.
Do you lie to your hairdresser?
Sat in the barbers today, which i hate, I was yet again asked the same questions I always am asked. Often i'll have this guy cut my hair and he msut have cut my hair a good 20 times before over the years. I dunno if he remembers me or not, and he msut cuz many different guys hair each day but today I was bored. He always asked me what I do for a job and all that stuff. So today although only a small lie I told him I work for the council doing filing. Ok so its not a big lie or anything, but i'm thinknig next time maybe i'll try something a bit more extreme and see what happens, and each time I go I can think of some more sorta insane job and see if he beleives me, could be kinda fun. So when your hairdresser or barbers asks you questions etc, do you ever exagerate or lie?

I wouldn't say I lie outright to hairdressers but they do have a habit of asking inane questions that I end up giving "standard" answers too. Same with cab drivers. I've given up arguing with racist taxi drivers for instance. "Yeah mate, they're taking all our jobs..., yeah they sacrafice their daughters, I heard that too....yeah...whatever."
Actually i'm getting on better with my current hairdresser since I found out she's into cars. Bonus.
A friend of mine pretended he'd been serving in Iraq (Gulf War I that is) in Special Forces to a taxi driver and he bought it hook, line and sinker.

My favourite bit of BSing cabbies came from a blind chap.
"So, how'd you, y'know?" *points to guy's eyes*
"Oh that. Bad deal mate. Got caught shagging the sultan's wife in Saudi Arabia. Punishment was blinding."
"Christ! They like, rip your eyes out?!"
"No no. Just pour acid in."
He got a very quiet journey home.

That's possibly a girl thing -- you have a particular hairdresser who you go to regularly and have wacky hour-long 40 quid "things" done to your hair, whereas I (and I suspect most blokes) go for whoever's randomly available whenevers convenient for me and simply want the hair to be a bit shorter.

Same here She remembers everything.
Though given that I've got girlie hair... *shrug*
40 quid things! I wish. I pay on average £60 every 6 weeks for mine. I can't work this out as Yvonne, who has 500% more hair than me pays less for her all over colour

A couple of mates of mine used that one to pull girls in bars... they were Tornado pilots, it worked like a charm until one day one of their unsuspecting victims replied with ...

"Really!?!? So was my husband!!!! DARLING!!!!"

My hairdresser is a cool rock chick lady, so we always talk about gigs, and I don't lie because they know me, and my mum also gets her hair done there.

I found a lovely colorist (Louise) and she doesn't charge me much over cost because she likes me going in and telling her what I've been up to and we share a Vin obsession

And I am classy, I just lower my selfimage to allow myself to hang around with the scummy likes of you
I can honestly say I never lie to my hairdresser ....why? because I cut and colour my own hair, have done for years.
Mind you I think thats mostly cause I am too tight to pay one to do it for me
