Scooby-Doo - a blast from the past !

Was over at Mr and Mrs Koala's at the weekend, and Kate's girls Alex and Lily were busy making Scooby-doos! For those of you too young to remember, this is 2 coloured strands of plastic looped and tied to make different shapes. I used to have about 40 hanging off of my key-ring but that was *cough*years ago !! Funnily enough, my sister saw an old friend of hers at the weekend and he'd bought her a packet 'cos she was always making them at school.

Does anyone else remember them or is it just me? What's next to make a comeback

My mum used to have them, me & the sibs used to have them & now my friends demons have them.
The odd thing is that I never knew they had a name. A Scooby Doo was a giant, talking cartoon dog to me.

I had loads - got quite expert at making them too

Some of the Mum's that bring their kids to our lessons sit there and play with them

not EVERYONE knows my real name. and i made just about as many. im sure. ..i hope. lol.

the correct spelling is scoubidous (i never could remember if it was meana be pronounced SHOO-BE-DOOs or scoobiedoos) and yes if anyone wants one i'll make em one (PINK one already underway duder) seeing as im bored and a bit of a sadcase and bored oh and quite sad and a smidge bit bored to boot.

I was sitting in the hospital waiting room yesterday and this kid was playing with this black and red band thingy, I think it was one of those! I didn't know they had a name, but now I remember them. I never played with them cos all the cool kids did and didn't wanna be a sheep

I remember these I always got mine in black and white. When I saw them them again it did take be back a bit that they had made a comeback.

Never heard of them, though I suspect if i saw them id say 'oh THOSE'.

I do remember something that came with cereal packets that you baked in the oven and they went small and hard and could be used as keyrings.

I remember those - they were called Shrinky-Dinks (how sad am I!!??!!) I remember having some Tom and Jerry ones that you had to colour in first, then bake them and they shrunk !*flashback*
