I love the dancing car one

I even like the ones for Sky Movies where they take a scene/word from a film and form it into dialogue for the advert.

At the moment I cannot stand the KFC one where they're in the call centre, singing with their mouths full Talk about teaching kids VERY bad manners - arrrgghhhh

The one I like (can't remember what it's advertising, lol) is the guy showing off on the diving board 'til the girls reflect the sun in his eyes and he falls off, catching his swimming trunks on the way down

I adore the dancing car advert.. definitely the best one at the moment.

Hate the KFC advert.. the fact that they're trying to sing with their mouths full is repulsive as well as bugging the hell out of me. Not too crazy about the Pot Noodle adverts and those Jamster ads...arrghhh!!!!

I also like the car advert where the car turns into hundreds of little pieces and flies through the city, spelling out certain expressions on the way and reassembling else where. Is it a Mercedes advert?.

Also one I really miss is the VW (?) one using "I'm singing in the rain" and morphed Gene Kelly's head onto a series of dancers.

I actually hate that advert. It's very well done, but there's just something...freaky about it. I can't watch it without wincing a little, as I absolutely adore the original film.

My absolute worst ad I've seen recently, though, hasta be that RSPCA ad with the puppet girl. Makes me shudder everytime I see it. I guess the point is gotten across, but it still freaks me out every time.

Audi, I believe. One of the phrases is the "Vorsprung durch Technik" one which they've used for years.

I used to love that MTV advert with the boy in a blue jumper walking down the crowded corridor of a High School listening to either the Undertones or Placebo, I don't remember which!!!

I can't bear the...esure adverts? (calm down dear!). They actually make me not buy from esure out of principal.

That was Placebo - Pure Morning, and it was indeed a cool advert. The Transformer car one is good. There are other good ones out there too, but I can't think of any right now...

My favourite is the Gene Kelly dancing in the rain one - so clever. And worse is any ringtone advert specifically the chick and frog

Thought so! I didn't know who either band was at the time so I was just going on random lyrics I could remember from it.

I'll join the bandwagon with the Crazy Frog advert I also hate the Esure ads too, he's the most irritating man in the world

As for favorites... the transformer style car one is a goody. Can't think of any others. Oh, i used to like one of the water (Evian maybe uzzled adds where he hits a dinosaur with a stone then runs from it

"Calm down dear" = pooooooooooo

I don't think they're on anymore but I used to love the BMW 3 series ads, one was with a trike and I think one had a horse in it. The tune was ace

Honda Diesel "Hate something - change something" ad. The tune makes me happy.

Having seen the dancing transformer one, I have to say that it's time they made a "live" action transformers movie- we know they can make it look realistic now!

Which is exactly what Hollywood thought when they saw the advert. A transformers movie is now in the pipeline

Dancing car is very cool.

I also like the Guiness Extra Cold ones espesh the little sneezing snail - he's so cute! My fave Guiness ads were Henry Ford and the bloke who dances while he waits for his pint to settle

I also liked (cast your mind back, ladies) the original Diet Coke Man ad where the bloke delivers the coke to the office and the second one with the builder... the rest were a bit poo. "Girls... it's 11:30!" *g*

I hate the phone logos/ringtones ads (they all suck), Esure (how the mighty have fallen) and The Diamond Insurance ad where they fight over who'll pay the bill (that reeks of GSCE Drama class).

I was looking for the old Diet coke ads (EVERYTHING is on the internet, so it must be out there somewhere) and I found this mocked Citroen ad (you have to scroll up to see the actual ad) *g*

First saw the Dancing car advert in a meeting in Paris with a bunch of different Site Managering Directors, one of them had it on his laptop and showed it on the projection screen.

The Gene Kelly advert just doesn't look right to me, it looks like his head isn't on straight.

I like the Guiness Ads. the guys running into the surf and then wimping out and running back.

Worst ads. Any ringtone.
