I'm only going on the first day cos matt is dragging me and is paying for me I also want to see what all the fuss is about, as so far i don't understand it

I'm not sure when I'll go, but probably within the first month...

Am SOOOOO looking forward to seeing it friday night. I remember seeing Star Wars (later renamed A New Hope) when it first came out, in Putney cinema (yes i know i'm old ). Be interesting also to see what George Lucas does about the TV series he wants to do *geeky expectations*

Hoping to get there in the first week- I first saw "A New Hope" on the telly when I was eight years old, and "Return Of The Jedi" was the first movie I ever saw at the cinema... I saw them all at the pictures when they were re-released, went to see the last two as well (though I wasn't impressed with episode one, The Phantom Merchandise).

This new one looks rather good though, so I can't wait!

Going to see it next Wednesday. Booked the day off and everything. May even see it later in the same day coz I'm a geek like that

I first saw A New Hope when it came out in 1977 in a cinema in Petersfield. Those were the days when you still had intermissions half way through the film! I was six at the time and can't remember much about it except the scene when Tarkin and Vader are discussing Obi Wan in the conference room

I'd like to change my answer to "dunno". Was going to go today (first day) but i cba and matt can't be either, so i'll just see it whenever *shrug*

Well I don't think it was *that* long ago when I saw film number 2 and that was only because somebody lent it to us.

I've put dvd option, but it'll be once the original release has calmed down.

Even though I told my ickle bro off for trying to tell me spoilers (although to be fair having seen and loved the original three movies, I doubt there's any *real* spoilers left )

I did actually ask the BF to pay for me to go. He didn't, so I won't see it (THANK GOD!).
