Big Brother 6
Starts on Friday at 9pm *bounce*
So for the people who are interested, here's a thread to discuss the show.
For those who sneer at us who like it, go away and get your own thread for slagging it off
(and be thankful that I've warned you to go into media hybernation for the next 11 weeks 
)
Seen pictures of the house today in Heat and there's been a few changes - it looks very claustrophobic to me! According to Dermot its still going to be evil but with a "cheeky" element.

My first impressions compiled over the last half hour or so...
#1 - Derek - Ooooooh.... Very dull... Could be friendly/nice/normal though, I'll give him a chance. (EDIT: "I love Liverpudlians!" LMAO!)
#2 - Lesley - Seems very full of herself, rather childish and incredibly annoying. "Giving you evils!", OMG it's Vicky Pollard!!
. As far as I can tell the only thing going for her is her beg tets... OK, I like the nurses outfit though... :$
#3 - Sam - Also slightly full of herself, but less annoying (hopefully). Quite cute though...
#4 - Maxwell - Seems like an alright kinda guy. A little bit too blokish for my liking, but I'm sure he'll be OK.
#5 - Vanessa - "I'm Vanessa, the cookie monster!" What a knob! Not much more to add to that. Oh wait, yes I have. Annoying knob!
#6 - Anthony - Another knob, but less annoying (again, hopefully). It's possibly he'll turn out OK and was just acting a knob in his audition thing... OK, scratch that, he just is a knob...
#7 - Roberto - Hmmmm.... Undecided about this one. Could be normal/cool, could be another prick. Only time will tell...
#8 - Makosi - She could be OK. Ish. Maybe. Seems rather dull/straight though. She dislikes people who swear for no apparent reason. Ha! She'll get on well in the house then!
#9 - Craig - The king of all knobs. Sad, pathetic, loser, knob.
#10 - Mary - LMAO! What a freak. A bit of a loser, and she Will probably annoy me after a while, but for the moment it'll be fun to laugh at her. A broom?! Get a life! Hahaha! It's a door, you push it and it opens! Hahaha
#11 - Science - Oh... dear... What the hell kinda name is Science?! A crap one. Well I guess it matches it's owner... Just call yourself Kieran for smeg's sake...

#13 - Kemal - Could be quite funny, but at the moment he's reminding me too much of Marco... OMG! OK, that's an impressive outfit... "Is this the house? What's happening now? Where are we all going?" OK, he's annoying me already...

I got Saskia. I'm not sure about her, but she's definitely better than the other one I could have got (2).
Most of them seemed like complete muppets in their videos, although it's hard to know how many of them will have been acting up.

OMG! What a bunch of freaky scary people (can't use the word I've been using to describe them all night coz its a family friendly board!)
Mary could be fun. Loving Kamal's work and liking Saskia (taking the whole 'I'm not rasist' thing aside)
Things I've loved so far:
*The way Lesley's face fell when she realised that Saskia had better tits than her and without the aid of a wonderbra
*Mark Frith on BBLB. Dermot:"She's Oxford educated" Mark: "Yeah, Oxford Polytechnic. Polytechnic"
*Makosi totally not getting her 'mistake' and subsequent secret mission. (btw - masterstroke by BB). Big Brother taunting her with "Unlucky" after telling her what was what.
*Bloody poster of Maggie Thatcher when he was a teenager. WTF?!?
*Lesley's mum on BBLB. Dermot: "Tell us something we don't know about Lesley." Lesley's Mum: "She loves herself" LMFAO
Can't wait for tomorrow's show to see how the first 24 hours go. Oh and Celebrity Love Island... need to catch tomorrows overnights to see how teh ratings went

So am I right in thnking that no-one has adopted Leslie, Maxwell or Saskia?
First thing I thought about Makosi's challenge is that if shw went up for eviction, the other one would go anyway. Frith agreed. Doesn't really matter if she's got the wrong end of the stick. For someone like Craig, it would have been a different matter. Bad luck, Big Brother...

OK I know I picked number 9 but I hate him. Please get Craig out quick.
My early tips for the final 5 are:
Maxwell - Reminds me of Bubble and I think he could be quite funny.
Saskia - Seems generally ok. Looks good.
Science - Don't know why but I think he'll do ok.
Sam/Roberto - I have a feeling that they will both keep their heads down and avoid nominations. Won't win though.

See me answering the phone in a quiet voice.

OK, after spending the weekend ODing on Big Brother I've reached the following conclusions...
I was really hating this series to start with. All that seemed to happen was that people would argue with each other. This is not what I call entertainment. I really hate it in fact. But then in the wee small hours of last night (I've been watching pretty much 24/7 this weekend) I watched some people getting along, having conversation, being friendly and amusing and it's brought me back around, and I'm gonna give it another chance.
At the moment... I like Maxwell, I'm growing increasingly fond of Anthony, I quite like Roberto, I almost like Craig (and I really can't believe I just said that), I think Vanessa is actually OK.
I think Sam is absolutely and completely gorgeous (I'm not sure why I didn't spot it before). She remids me of Andie from Dawson's Creek (Mmmmmm), although maybe that's just cos I've started watching it again recently. I'm still not sure about her personality-wise though, but physically... Mmmmmmmmmmmm....
