I have no interest whatsoever but my Sam thinks tomorrow is the best day of the year
The Premiership is back :D
The football season starts again tomorrow, so what do people think the prospects are for their team?
IÂ’m a Liverpool fan and while I can see us improving in the league I canÂ’t see us finishing higher than 3rd. We might do a little better if we can sell Baros and tempt Owen back though. Europe might be our best option again.
The Premiership is ChelseaÂ’s to lose this season. Man United will be more of a threat, but Arsenal havenÂ’t really strengthened enough over the summer after the loss of Viera. As for relegation, it may well be the 3 Ws (West Brom, West Ham and Wigan) to go down.

I'm pleased. No real competition for us in Liverpool. But a lot in Chelsea. Chelsea were a very good side last year, but as the Charity Shield shows, they're taking after Man U skills and becoming dirty players.
Hopefully will get to attend a few games, need to get my new shirt though. Gooners all the way

Going on from the Charty shield and my very drunked post afterwards I'm finding it very hard to get myself motivated for this season. Arsenal are playing on sunday, chances are I'll stay at home and maybe listen to it on the radio......and still not be bothered if we lose.
I think I need help, whats wrong with me.
As for Arsenal's chances this season, I think we'll be fine without Vieira. In Fabregas we have a great young player to cover, who isn't too different from Vieira. He's very firey, great with the ball, and to be honest will probably score more goals.
I think the top 3 will still be occupied by Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U (not in that order tho, although that would be cool.)

well i support everton, and after we did pretty well last season, i don't really want to follow this time, because i think we can only go down from here me, pessimistic? never!
No it started last week!! It's just the premiership that starts tomorrow. There is football outside of the top league you know!

Newcastle United fan here and Championship league here we come (or Division One in old money)
Sorry, I forgot about last week It's a bit of a football wilderness in Cambridge so I only tend to notice when Liverpool's games start (although that was actually about 5 weeks ago!)

I think if Van Persie's trial goes his way we should be find with our team. With Flamini, Senderos, Fabregas and Reyes we should be pretty much ok. They're such a young group and they have the potential to do really well. I think Thierry will make a fab captain.

I'm rather partial to the team sitting top of that league right now!

To be honest I find the Premiership boring compared to the Championship. Whilst the level of skill is far higher and individual games can be superb the league season is far too predictable. Without exactly sticking my neck out I predict the top 3 will be Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea (with Chelsea winning the league) and 2 of the bottom 3 (if not all 3) will be from West Brom, Sunderland, West Ham and Wigan.
I challenge anyone to make a prediction that turns out as accurate as that for the Championship.
In the Chamionship there are about 10 clubs that could get promoted and the rest have a chance of play offs or will be battling relegation.
The Championship = The most exciting league in the UK!!!
Two games in and I'm already feeling the blues...c'mon Aberdeen..get your finger out boys!!

Only one team can challenge Chelsea and that's the mighty reds. Man Utd for the title
You sound like my son. I'll tell him his 'brown friend Wino' is a fan too

It's not like a Man U fan to back Liverpool
