complicated but good idea
ok i think i know a way to make money and be a celelbrity easy. simply go aound the town pretending to be a celebrity and getting peopel to buy you drinks as you're a celeb and get mates to ask for your autograph. others wills ee and ask for it and it'll be spread around that you're famous and people pretend to know you but don't therefore after a while you actually will be famous and then you can reveal how you did it which no one else has done so you'll be seen as a clever celeb who only used to be joe bloggs. eventually i'd then be on tv, maybe a few films, release an album and get married to susanna hoffs. great idea or what?

Hardly. Elinor Glyn, the writer of "It", defined it thus:

You'd be rumbled imediately. Not least by the people who've seen/know about 'It's Love Again', the 1936 film with Jessie Matthews which covers a similar sort of deception.

I once thought of the idea of making my parents and friends walk around taking photos of me pretending to be the press and have someone pretending to me my bodyguard and someone else carrying my shopping and someone else driving a car and pretending to be my chaffeur!
