T-Journal December 14th

Yesterday I bought all the bits for Denise her new computer and they all fit nicely together after some work (shuttle sn25p's are not known for their huge amount of internal space). Installed a 64bit version of Windows on it yesterday to test however surprisingly many programs don't seem to work together well with the x64 windows versions just yet so today it is back to the good old 32bit version.

Bit of a pain as I had (almost) all the software she wants installed already....... but hopefully by the end of the day I can do a speedtest and see how this little baby kicks the crap out of my old machine

Might need to borrow it for a few days to do some gaming

Did some last minute shopping for Christmas cards and gift bows. Then hubs and myself went to Hannah's school to watch the Key Stage One Christmas concert... her class did the Nativity and Hannah was a Wise Man. She didn't look too happy and wouldn't crack a smile. Later found out that her teacher had told her to keep quiet (she is the class chatterbox). Still, sulky face or not, cue two very proud parents

DJ Billy You can't really dust for vomit.

Today we had telephone training in work for 1 1/2 hours (!) and not much else happened. Even so, when I got home I completely flaked on the sofa.

I've been watching the footie, which is kinda bizarre. I want Man U to lose (because they're Man U, naturally) but I also want them to keep a clean sheet and for Rooney to score (for my fantasy team)

Okay Wobag has gracefully donated a set of buttons to the little new frontpage feature and it is almost done now need to make the few last tweaks (and add caching to it otherwise the site might become very slow if you all start using it

). With any luck it should be up on the frontpage for you all to use by tomorrow evening (fingers crossed).

But off to bed for me now
