Before anyone starts moaning to me about drivers stiking again , this time it's the station staff, who are worried about job cuts. I personally think that the strike won't go ahead but will update more when i hear anything about it at work.
If you were gonna be in London on New Years Eve
RMT have annouced a planned strike on the London Underground on New Years Eve.
If this happens, it will mean no tubes at all let alone all night/free services. Needless to say this will screw things up for a lot of people.

But then being made redundant will screw things up a lot worse. I wouldn't feel happy celebrating if the price is a single job. Central London gets pretty hellish on New Year's anyhow.

I have to say that's my feeling too. Striking on New Years Eve will cause so much mayhem that I'm sure the Powers That Be will do anything they can to stop it... That's my opinion anyway...

I'm guessing you'll have a quiet New Year then when I tell you that a friend of mine was made redundant this week due to a shortage of orders over the New Years holiday. Have fun moping.

Luckily I'm not going up to London this New Years, but I hope the strike doesn't go ahead as I know people who are going up.
