Glad to hear you're sounding well (OK, as well as can be expected) and recovering, take it easy, and hope to see you back here soon, so get well sooner!
I am alive honestly!
Sorry I haven't been around on T21 for a while, but as some of you know, I needed time out before and after my hip replacement operation.
Thank you to everyone who sent best wishes beforehand via other means As strange as it sounds, even though I was put on the operating list in the early part of last year, I didn't want to publically talk about it, because I didn't want any fuss. It meant that I became a little withdrawn from here towards the end of the year because there was so much to take in with the do's and don'ts of the recovery period.
It's been 3 weeks since the actual operation and everything is very much up in the air. For a full 6-8 weeks you have to follow strict rules until the consultant then tells you if everything is ok to then drive, work, move, etc etc. So at the moment I'm behaving (just!) and won't know what I can accomplish next, or how my movements will change for another 5 weeks as my follow up isn't until mid March.
I am around online, but I'm mainly vegging and haven't been putting my heart into anything except reading journals. When I was released from hospital, I was told that there *maybe* the possiblility to purchase a cdrom of before and after x-rays. I hope this is possible as I would love to post it on my journal
Hope you are all well and that I haven't missed anything drastic
I hope you are all looking forward to the G-Party. As I'm a big doubtful to be fit enough to go, as a requirement I'm expecting everyone to have a dance for me as I can't!!!

Good to hear you are still among us. Hope you are enjoying the vegging as if everything goes okay you won't be allowed / able to do it for such an extended period of time for a long time to come.
Wish I could have gotten a cdrom of my x-rays when they did them of my spine but at the time they didn't do that just yet (10+ years ago), would have been a cool discussion piece (Oooh am I that sad, but if people can talk about their holiday pictures....)
Keep us updated on your progress and hopefully in 5 weeks or so you'll be able to "jump" around again.
