I'm gonna have to start with 2 because as far as im concerned you just cant beat GEORGE AND ZIPPY !!!!!

Did you not wonder why bungle bons walked around in the buff all day then put pyjamas on at nite weird or what ha ha ha hah ha ha (in a zippy styleeeee)

Zippy certainly did rule.
Roland Rat, however, clearly belongs in room 101 with Gordon the Gopher and other such obscenities.
As for Rainbow in general, it was clearly way ahead of its time, what with the clearly parental role of two co-habiting males (George and Bungle), in much the same way that Magic Roundabout was ahead of its time on the subject of recreational use of hallucinogens. Actually, I still can't believe Magic Roundabout got away with soooooooo much!
As for Bungle and PJs, its seems quite obvious to me that, as the temperature dropped at night, covers were not enough to keep Bungle warm, hence the PJs. It clearly had nothing to do with some bourgeois sense of physical embarrassment, as he was clearly an avid naturalist...
Oh, and Bod and Mr Ben were pretty cool too.

Sorry Jayjay but you're wrong! I distinctly remember an episode of Rainbow where Geofrey took them all to the seaside. Bungle put on a pair of swimming trunks and went for a swim, but the trunks were washed off by a wave. Bungle then refused to come out of the sea because he was embarassed to be seen naked!
