Me! Wrong! I find that hard to believe...

Sorry Jayjay but you're wrong!
<-- I've decided this must be a pout!
Now, while I do not remember the event described, and therefore cannot vouch for the validity of your counter-argument() I think I can offer an explanation. As you point out Bungle went naked in front of the nations youth on a daily basis, so couldn't be embarrassed by his naked form. So, I can only suggest that Bungle's excuse was a ruse for a more embarrassing reason. Clearly Bungle had *enjoyed* being in the water too much, and was embarrassed that he might be showing *how much* he'd *enjoyed* himself without the cover of the swimming trunks.
Now I really must get back to my therapist, if you don't mind...
LOL. Now I can't get rid of the mental image of an overexcited Bungle!

while we're on the subject of bungle, anyone heard that rhyme about him? actually theres 2, one about him flying ;up above the streets and hosues bungle flying high' i can't go any further, then theres the other one 'zippy and bungle went to the jungle to have a bit of fun, zippy got silly and....' again i can go no further.
Well, I love most of the characters that have already been mentioned. I also loved all the chgaracters from Trap Door (especially Berk, Boni and Rogg). And Tiny Clanger was just too cute. And the mice from Bagpuss. And Roland Rat was cool! (and I've managed to earn the nickname Roland because apparently I sound just like him when I say 'not bad'!)
Does anyone else rembember Zazoo U? Or was I all alone in my TV habits?
Zazoo U? Never heard of that, sorry.
I was just wondering if anyone can recall a kids serial in either the late 70's/early 80's about a young gypsy girl. I think it was called 'Kizzy' and it ran for quite a while. I have vivid memories of one scene where she was being chased down a street by the school bullies and it seemed harsh for kids TV.
Ring any bells?

Kizzy, yes, used to have the book... lived with her gran, when she died was taken in by a woman in a village, laughed at hysterically at school cos she didn't know how to sit on a toilet and sat on it like a horse, i.e. facing the wall... can't remember who it was by though (Rummer Godden?). It was harsh, but it captured perfectly what cruel little errr blighters kids can be.
Fave character was probably Paddington Bear *pats her PB on the computer fondly*

Thanks, Vix! Been looking for someone who remembered that show for years
Hadn't realised there was a book. Might have to look for that now.

Ooooh I have lots. I liked Penelope Pitstop! She was cool. And Fred Flinstone and of course Scooby Doo.
I've read that book, we had to read it in yr7 at school. I loved it. So heart warming.
