I'm not a fan of Easter Eggs really, but I've asked my sister to get me some of those chocolate sea shells instead.

She reckons she can't find any but I think she's telling porkies.

I gave Dean a Creme Egg one and the little bugger ate it in bed last night!!

I don't have an Easter Egg - not a huge lover of them.

But no doubt if I need a chocolate fix I'll end up eating Georgia's left overs - she's got 7 so far!

even after years of telling my mother that, as a non-believer, i dont wish to be involved in her religious celebrations, i managed to come home from work and find a scooby-doo easter egg waiting for me.
FFS, im **coughcoughplutter** - thats FAR too old to be eating any easter eggs, never mind scooby7 doo ones **wipes choc crumbs from mouth**
but seriously - im not muslim, so i dont take part in ramadan - im not jewish, so dont celebrate hanukah - so why the smeg does my mother expect me to get involved in her christian events??
im going to get an earful off her this weekend for not getting her anything (again!)...

Never let religion get in the way of chocolate.

There's a handy theory that originally, Easter had nothing to do with Christianity: it was a pagan festival called Ostara, celebrating an Anglo-Saxon Spring goddess. The new religion rebranded it to get converts sometime between AD 500-800. So why not commemorate the lost festival, and tuck into those presents!

The kids have seven between them and no doubt will be getting more from tomorrow. I chose a six pack of Cadburys Creme Eggs and hubs has a packet of Mini Eggs

The one sad thing about living so far from home is that I don't get easter eggs any more. While my mum is always up for getting me silly/childish presents, easter aggs aren't the easiest things to post...

But as I'm a chocaholic anyway it's not like I'll be going without. I'm still working my way through my Christmas chocolate mountain...
