I saw this in the paper today and my own personal opinion is that it's the biggest pile of garbage since that talking compost heap from Fraggle Rock... Sorry, the allegations just sound so suspect to me, I don't believe a word of it. Just my opinion though...
Big Brother contestant arrested
Morning folks, spotted this on my morning news browse and thought the BB fans here might be interested, and (unlike myself) would probably know who this bloke is:
News sites report that former contestant Sezer Yurtseven, voted off the show in June, has been arrested on alleged rape charges. He has since been bailed and is due to reappear in court in August.
BBC News: Police arrest Big Brother's Sezer
Mirror: Big Brother Sezer Arrested
According to the Sun, this isn't the first time this has happened; with Sezer being arrested on the same charges in 2004, but charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.
Thoughts?

I'm with Alex on this. I hope I'm not opening up a can of worms (this all sounds better and well thought out in my head so excuse anything that sounds harsh, lol) but you don't get off with someone all night, go back to their hotel room and not expect anything. I'm a firm believer in saying no at any point and then the other person should back off but you just don't get yourself into that situation. Seriously, girls like that piss me off. If he did rape her then throw the book at him, but if she was just regreting the night before (come on who wouldn't, lol) then she deserves to be done for wasting police time. As it is it looks like it'll be her word against his and I doubt this will go further.
With regards to the previous claim maybe that did happen, I dunno. Sometimes you have to scream a NO for them (men or women) to stop and physically move yourself. I mean how many girls have given it the "No, don't, stop it, oh go on then"? Maybe the second girl knew of this claim and thought she could milk the story. I'm waiting for her to waive her anonymity and sell her story soon.
Like I said if it is true then he deserves all he gets (I can't stand the slimeball personally and what happened to waiting for Imogen ) but why can they name him before anything is proven yet the woman is protected?
As a side mote I have friends who have been raped and I feel for them, but I don't know of anyone who has been in a situation like this ('tho several have come close to getting this way )

It's a shame that there have been a spate of fake rape claims all over the papers recently as it leaves people less disposed to believe someone making a report.
However, a couple of things stood out in the newspaper reports. Firstly, this person has been accused of rape before. The case was not pursued due to lack of evidence [...] and secondly the complianent is apparently a well-known model (although what that means is anyone's guess) who was worried about making a complaint in case anyone found out her identity. So not the usual kind of no-mark bimbo looking to sh*g a (not really) celebrity, then.
In any case, I'm sure the truth will out eventually. Or something slightly resembling the truth. Or a story in the Sun.

When discussing this, please keep in mind that anyone who has not been convicted of a crime is completely innocent in the eyes of the law, and suggesting otherwise could put the site at risk of a libel action.
Which was why I followed the edited remark with "in my opinion", which I understand I'm still entitled to by law. Also, you may note that I didn't say he DID do it - just that it was also not proven that he DIDN'T. The only legal definition of complete innocence is to be aquitted by a court. Insufficient evidence is not proof of innocence any more than it is an indication of guilt.
