Wasn't Aldrin the one who had the nervous breakdown or some kind of psychological problems in the years after his return? Wonder if there's a connection?

As for the UFO cover-up, this is the first I'm hearing of it, but it doesn't surprise me. As government agencies go, I like NASA. They have thousands of dedicated scientists who do some some terrific things. But they've had some top officials at NASA trying to cover up evidence of global warming for years, so I guess covering up possible info on UFOs wouldn't be too far off the mark for them.

It may have been a UFO, but that doesnt mean its alien in origin.

It could have been the Soviets who proboably had the capabilitys to go to the moon but not actually land and take off from there.

As for Nasa covering up Global Warming, there is a number of scientists who also believe that the earth is just going through a cycle of climate change that happens every so often.

You're right about that. But there are many more climate scientists who believe that global warming is occuring now, and that the actions of people are very likely the primary cause of it.

Scientists have pulled ice cores out of Antarctica that contain a record of the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for about the last half a million years. The cores show a low of about 200 parts per million of carbon dioxide, and a high of about 280 parts per million during that long period. We're now at a concentration of about 380 parts per million in Earth's atmosphere. That's way beyond anything in at least the last half a million years or so. With that being the case, you have to wonder just how resilient Earth's natural climate system is, and you also have to worry about just what we're doing to it that we may not be able to undo.

And I do have to give NASA some props. Although NASA's space projects get most of the attention, part of their mission is also to study Earth's environment. So as part of that, there are a lot of NASA scientists who study the atmosphere and climate. Although there were some bureaucrats trying to stop the word about global warming from getting out--purely for political reasons--the climate scientists at NASA have been working a long time on this issue, and developed some of the early data that showed that global warming could be occuring, and then later that it actually was occuring.
