First things first: iPhoto has never come bundled with the Macintosh operating system.

It's part of the iLife suite of applications and that is bundled with new Macs. So essentially, iPhoto is bundled with new Mac computers, not with the operating system.

If you want iPhoto back, you'll have to buy the latest version of iLife, which is 06 (a great suite) or do other unmentionable things.

weird! i had it on my old operating system which was from about 4 years ago, and just preseumed it was one of the standard programs...
