Another year has passed which means that T21 has been running for 5 years now and we would like to thank all of you who have made this possible. And yes that does include you as well.
Over the last couple of years a lot has changed, for some it has been too much and for others it has been too little. But seeing as change is inevitable we figured we might as well get on the bandwagon and announce some of the changes you will be seeing in the coming months.
First of all we would like to remind everyone that the T-Party is back this year so if you haven't ordered your tickets yet, please do soon or you'll be missing out on a great party on the 21st of April.
But the return of the T-Party isn't the only change we have in store for you this year. Not only will T21 go micro and it will also be getting a splash of good old fashioned all purpose cleaner.
Heroes @ T21
In the next couple of weeks we hope to release our first micro-site based on the hit show Heroes. With each micro-site focusing on one topic it will be the place to find out all about your favorite shows, read episode reviews, find in-depth cast information and contribute your own views, ideas and other content about the shows without losing out on all the other stuff T21 has to offer.Once the first micro-site has been completed more show specific sites will follow based on their demand.
T21 goes AJAX
Behind the scenes we are constantly working to improve T21 and in the next couple of months we'll be rolling out a lot new features based on AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML). By using this "new" technology we'll be making T21 a lot more dynamic and interactive whilst also reducing loading times. New features you can expect will including enhanced navigation, spellcheckers, new image galleries and many more.Thats all for now and we hope you'll keep enjoying your stay with us and join us in a piece of Birthday cake.

Hopefully this will bring the new members that the site needs. I hope this happens sooner rather than later though or it'll just be another missed opportunity...

Posted: 16:40 Mar 06 2007 It's coming along nicely and we hope that it will do the site some real good, it'll certainly be interesting. In the future we'll also be adding micro-sites for other shows too, giving Tangent21 a well rounded content base.

The main work is going to be the content...... so if you feel inspired write up some cast info / episode reviews / photoshop a nice wallpaper (hint hint hint)

What you really need is for people to be talking about each episode. Seeing as America is on ep18 and Sky ep4 then it may be a bit late for that...

This project is still 'in the works', but there are a total of 3 people working on it in very brief spare time and to be honest, it got stalled. This has always and probably always will be a problem with the site. A timeframe should never have been given really, because T21 has very rarely been able to stick to them.
Stay tuned, and hopefully we'll have news in the future.

Well at the moment it is mainly stuck because I simply don't have the time to do some serious programming on the site. The design is there the ideas are there, we kinda know how it's going to work, but it's actually getting it done thats the issue. Plus we wanted to do something seriously different from the current site using technology we haven't really used before which takes a lot of extra time. And to be honest if you have been doing web development all day the last thing you want to do is spend a few more hours on it in the evening especially when (as Milky pointed out) there is no real urgency anymore.
Seeing as there are some more shows coming that might become a major hit and the whole heroes idea was just a framework for us to work with micro-sites I will hopefully be getting back in the saddle by next week.

Also i just want to say I'm not having a pop at anyone for this... I'm more than impressed that everyone who's *in charge* of the site gives up there time and effort to make it work... it's just frustrating to see things like this promised that don't come off
