Got some nice books. We decided to have a relatively low key Christmas present wise. Still had good fun, ate way too much and I don't think we broke the bank which is always a bonus. So I'm afraid that if you are looking for l33t l00t you should be looking somewhere else.

In our house we got Guitar hero 3 and about 5 other PS3 games, a couple of Wii games a DS Lite and a few games for that, books, DVDs, smellies, vouchers and far too much to mention. We were all spoiled this year

Assassin's Creed, poker set, poker hints book, some cash, WH Smiths voucher, some other stuff that yes, included a pair of socks. Very rock and roll.

So far this year our house (which is just me & Brett) unwrapped:

* A £250 racing day (Porsche, Ferrari, Lotus Elise, Mazda-something and a single seater all included)
* DS Lite
* PS3 (which was opened early)
* 8 or more games for the Wii, PS3 and DS
* Solar charger
* Chocolates
* Clothes
* Finger drum-set
* Perfumes, Aftershaves and other smellies
* Tickets to see 'Avenue Q' in London
* Kerrang Tour tickets
* Swarovski crystal necklace
* Shopping vouchers

Apparently I've still got my "big" present to come (the racing day was from me to him) cuz we both went a little over board with our first Xmas together and spoiled each other, lmao!

We also have another Xmas to come because Brett was sent to Germany with work (damn the US military to hell!!) and when he comes back we're going to my folks for our Xmas dinner. We still haven't exchanged our presents with them yet (although I know one of them is a new toaster that matches our kitchen, lol) so we won't see the entire haul for another fortnight

i dont do christmas (i have all sorts of philosphical objections to the entire concept - but thats a whole other rant for another day), but i bought myself a nice 24" widescreen monitor for my main pooter, which also got a new mobo and processor after the old ones burnt out.
also rebuilt one of my servers, and donated the spare parts to a friend whose PC had died.

then again, christmas day i suffered a major failure of an external HD, which contained around 550Gb of tv shows - ive managed to recover a load of these, but theres a shedload that ive lost.
luckily, a large chunk of the missing stuff can be re-ripped from DVDs, but the rest is going to be rather difficult to replace.

Today two massive boxes full of Xmas presents arrived from the US. It looks like Brett's folks went overboard, but I'll find out this weekend at Xmas II
