I'm was looking forward to this, until I saw that they guy who plays Peter Parker looks very much like a guy I used to know! Very odd.

Anyway, I agree the films looks, great! I know comic book synics who are already complaining about one thing or another, but providing its an entertaining film, I'll be happy.

I'm really looking forward to this one. I just hope it lives up to expectations. The trailers looked fantastic. (I missed seeing the original twin towers one though).

Looks like a bit of no brainer fun. Shall certainly make time in the schedule to see this on the big screen.

Looking good. Got a trailer a few months ago, and was immediately wanting to see it. This years must see flick perhaps?

I'm hoping this is a good 'un.

Sony seem to think so, as this story about the sequel they have already greenlit shows

shame about that, Sam raimi has said they'll be a scene in the film, where the twin towers are visible as a tribute to the the 11th sept, which i think is good, better to remember the event than wipe clean the image that has become part of new york, as much as spiderman is part of new york mythology!
you can still get the poster of spiderman where the towers are reflected in his eyes, i think that is great! a great tribute
i believe the trailer will be in the dvd when it comes out again for the same reasons.
