Angel Season 3 trading cards
Its nearly that time of year again for the next release of the Angel trading cards.... we are now up to season 3 around the end of August to include:
90 Card Base Set
9 Foil Prophesies Unfold Puzzle Set
6 Foil Etched Triangulation Set
3 Unique Box Loader Cards
Autos are one guaranteed per box:
Amy Acker - Fred
Keith Szarabajka - Holtz
Daniel Dae Kim - Gavin
Jack Conley - Sajhan
Mark Lutz - Groosalugg
Laurel Holloman - Justine
Ron Melendez - James
Jarrod Crawford - Randell
And for the first time - costume cards:
Angels Shirt - "That Old Gang of Mine"
Cordelia's Gown - "Waiting in the Wings"

I believe the release date is between the 28th-31st August. It normally takes a couple of days for them to hit the UK.
The best thing I can suggest is *don't* run out and buy from the first dealer you see. Always check the prices of UK dealers. If you can't get to a card fair in your area then you can always email me and I'll give you some suggestions as there's some that have great websites but can be a little pricey!

Normally I would, but I'm strapped for cash right now and I'd rather put my money into conventions/meets.
Card collecting gets very addictive and very expensive if you don't have an idea of the base costs first this is a public health warning

I've come to learn that collectors chase the *main/rarer* cards first - so in this instance it'll be Amy Acker's auto - if you can find that for less than £50 then you are probably onto a winner.
But the other cards will always have someone selling them cheaper overtime - so if you can be patient then you can spread the cost better.
Collectors who like the fun of opening packs will normally buy a box of cards for £60.00 which usually has ratios of 3 of the 9 cards, 2 of the 6 cards, and in this instance 1 guaranteed auto and probably and average of 2.5 basic sets.

I am not jumping into buying the unopened display box like i usually do...and i agree it does get "soooo" expensive. I am not impressed with the autos or the chase cards this season as i have been with the last..I am prepared to wait till the next card fair. Prolly wait till London Expo next year or Birmingham as there is no sandown in November..

On the "other" hand. I have just had a butchers at cardsinc and i think an unopened display box might have to come my way....lol
