What Are You Listening To?

Self-explanatory this one

- ok maybe not I should clarify this is primarily for what song but if you want to post albums it's all good

and Dishwalla. They had a track played on Smallville a couple of weeks ago, called 'Angels and Devils' which made me get a hold of a couple of their tracks. Very much reminded me of Vertical Horizon.

I really loved that track and i had to look it up to see who it was by. Is all their stuff like that? because i'm curious

I've only got two of their tracks. The other one I got was 'When Morning Comes' It sounds quite similar (Very acoustic) But all in all I fully intend to obtain more.

The albums Screwing Lies & Passion Play. it's kind of hard to describe the style, but I guess that Folk music with attitude would come close.

Christ! Haven't heard that in ages. If I wasn't so lazy I'd google it, 'cos I can't remember who released it. Then again, I'am at work, it's Friday night, and I'm bored. There's time yet...

Anyway, on the CD player at home, and permanently on the Head Juke Box (tm) is:

The Bloodhound Gang - Hooray for Boobie!

Though the Head Juke Box seems to be stuck on Ballad of Chasey Lain.

Others that have recently dominated the CD playa are Meteora, One by One and Bleed American. Although I brought back a truck load of CDs from the US, and AFI in particular seem to be moving in...

i'm listening to "40 hour train back to penn" by the movielife at the moment. But i'm just about to change to "sing the sorrow" by AFI, which i have now fallem i love with, and can't stop listening to. unless of course it's right now, in which case i'm not listening to it, therefore i have stopped listening to it....

i'm listening to "40 hour train back to penn" by the movielife at the moment.

I've been hearing great things about that one. I've heard a couple of songs off it and I'm pretty much determined to buy it soon.

Recently I've been listening to Brand New's album "Your Favorite Weapon" and Taking Back Sunday's album "Tell All Your Friends".
I've also been listening to a lot of Sigur RÃ³s, upon the sugegstion of Jesse from Brand New. Specifically the instrumental "JÃ³sef Tekur Fimmuna Ã Vinnuna" because I find it relaxing.

American HiFi are very highly rated with me, I've got their 1st album and I love it. Not sure about the second, haven't heard it yet.

Another band I've found out about is SR-71. They only have the 2 albums out, but it is a very wide range I think. some of it sounds very Linkin Park-ish and the other parts are like a cross between Blink 182 and Goldfinger. One tranck that stands out to me is 'Tomorrow'. If you haven't heard it, I'd highly recommend it.
