So whaddya think? Who's your money on? *Have* you put money on? 
Me I don't have a clue because I don't follow the chart scene all that much
- though if Ron Atkinson gets it that'd be pretty funny

I was listening on the Radio and they said that it was odds on that the dirl band from one of these 'rival' proggies would do pretty well. I heard the tune being used in the background on Kiss FM this morning and must say I thought it was ok

anyhow...i just don't see its fair how since about 3 weeks ago the judges were talking about which band *will* be number one, as if it had been decided it was between them and them alone
i vote liberty x
which is um...quite....interesting considering they came from popstars....

I've had some abso-bleedin'-lutely... erm... flippin' annoying (phew, narrowly avoided an obscene slip of the virtual tongue, but I have trouble coming up with any better way to describe it!) "music" stuck in my head recently... (Die Another Day, for example, ugh!)

I'm not sure...I haven't heard a list of who's releasing tunes for the xmas number one spot...the Popstars lot are probably favouates but you can never tell...are Westlife not releasing a tune in time for xmas??

I want Death in Vegas, Scorpio Rising to be No1, but I very much doubt it, It's a great song, and brilliantly sang by Mr Gallagher, even though he has no front teeth

Well - even if it isn't one of the Popstars Rivals bands, then its gonna be either Gareth Gates or the Cheeky girls (God please no!!) So its all in the bag for Simon Fuller :Money bags smiley:
I've heard a lot of people banging on about the popstars bands dominating deliberately and pete waterman having control blah blah blah, but why have people only noticed this now? Its been going on for years. The X-mas number one has been one dead cert or a definate one or two for years - only this time the management teams behind them are more public. Personnally i think its funny to swindle teh bookies out of teh amount of money they usually make by taking bets on three or four possibles.

I think it will be a small miracle if nothing manufactured from a tv show makes it to No.1 this christmas (are they better or worse than Mr Blobby?! )
Watched Liquid News earlier and apparently the PopRivals Girls are 8000 singles ahead of the PopRivals boys. The boys were complaining that the girls had gone all out with boobs and legs in their video, as well as selling 2 different cd covers. As far as they are concerned they have sold more than the girls in real terms. And more to the point they thought they were better than anything else in the charts - cocky much
Although to be fair I don't buy singles anymore, so I can't complain if this time of stuff gets to No.1 - in cheesy effect they are better than Will Young that's for sure
I just want to say that I'm not against the tv show stuff - I like the underdogs who are generally better than the winners, Liberty X, Darius .
