I have serious doubts that it will hit the UK, Linkin Park obviously are already scheduled over here, Metallica will be at Reading and Limp Bizkit I don't doubt will tour here sometime this year. It's along the lines of other tours like Family Values which tend to be US only - arena tours don't tend to happen here :/
Triple Headliner!!
Heard today that there will be a 'Triple Headline' tour going on through the summer of 2003.
The main acts include Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and the Mighty Metallica!! Support also includes Deftones and Mudvayne.
Slated to coincide with all 3 bands album releases in the next few months, it is still un-confirmed that the tour will come to the UK, however it is known that Metallica will be playing Leeds & Reading festivals anyway.
Elegantly titled the 'Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003'

OMG! How cool would that be?!
It's getting a lot of stick on the internet from certain factions of the fan bases of all bands involved.
Metallica's die hard fans are complaining that Linkin Park and The Bizkit aren't "real" metal and that Metallica have once again sold out (even further). Whereas certain fans from the Nu-Metal crowd are saying that Metallica are now irrelevant. Which is kinda funny if you ask me
Most "sensible" rock fans just see it as a chance to have a great time and see some cool bands.
What interests me is that Metallica still haven't got a replacement bass player. (Producer Bob Rock has played bass on the St. Anger recordings so far an album that's out on June 10th theoretically) and Limp Bizkit still haven't announced their new guitarist. The world of the session player just looked up
