Favourite one-hit wonders
Watching that advert for the one-hit wonders CD got me thinking about those groups that had a mega hit with a song (usually from a jeans ad!) and then were never heard from again! Who would you nominate as your top three one-hit wonders? I'd go for:
"Inside" - Stiltskin
"Spaceman" - Babylon Zoo
"Safety Dance" - Men Without Hats!

Surely it was in terms of chart success? Can't say I remember anything else of theirs being as successful as 'Inside'.

Inside was not a one hit wonder! hmmph!
/me goes off in a sulk
I'd agree with Spaceman and Inside, they rock!
Also, Pump up the Volume by M.A.R.R.S. was very cool.
And of course I can't leave out The One and Only by Chesney Hawkes.

Shall I describe it to you or would you like me to find you a box?
You ever think there might be a reason that she's spelt these things wrong?

Just get so used to bad spelling on the Net
I just thought of another one I wanted to nominate, which tends to get stuck in my head for hours on end:
"Birdhouse in Your Soul" by They Might Be Giants.
I loved this weird, catchy tune!

Ah but They Might Be Giants had 'You're Not The Boss Of Me' which was later used for Malcolm in the Middle.
Nena - 99 Red Balloons
Tasmin Archer - Sleeping Satelite(did she ever do anything else? Can't think of anything)
Various soap stars (Stefan Dennis, The Blakeney Twins...)
I can think of plenty who should never have even thought about being anything other than one hit wonders tho, lol
<edit> they aren't faves, just ones I could think of
