I'll place a bet on the latter. Was exactly the same at Linkin Park.

Either hundreds of people bought a ticket then two minutes later remembered they already had plans, or touts are trying to cash in
Glastonbury Tickets
Well tickets for this year's Glastonbury festival went on sale this week and sold out not long after.
After a quick scan of Ebay I've found *alot* of people selling tickets and bits are £170 or above per ticket. Either hundreds of people bought a ticket then two minutes later remembered they already had plans, or touts are trying to cash in

Except, if you remember, the touts at Linkin Park had a huge number of tickets that they couldn't shift.

The same happened with Prince in Manchester last year - there were loads of really cheap tickets availiable from ebay coz people couldn't shift them
Darn!!! Not only are the ticket put on sale while I'm away, and sell out on the same weekend, but they've stopped sending out forms for stewerds!!!
Life can be sooooo cruel. someone somewhere is making sure I don't get to Glastonbury.

I've been to Glastonbury 5 times and have never paid for a ticket. The most money I ever exchanged was £20 with a stoner working on the gates
Yipee!, my 2 tickets arrived this morning!
Now, with tickets on ebay going for 180 squid, I need to persuade my other half to give it a miss! hehe.
Looking forward to REM cos I missed them at Glastonbury in 99, and Radiohead, though there are tonnes of bands i've never seen live before, so am well looking forward to it.
