Definatly definatly DEFINATLY getting it when I get paid! I love Smallville, always has great music on it!
Smallville Soundtrack:The Talon Mix
This show was always crying out for a soundtrack album and now one's been done. Although I only found out there was one this morning after watching re-runs of S1 eps on T4. To be honest, there's been so much great music on the show they could have released a double album. (The greatest 'crime' is that they've omitted Avril Lavigne's 'Tomorrow' which has featured in Season 2! )
Anyway, here's the track listing:
1) Save Me (Remy Zero)
2) Inside Out (VonRay)
3) Island In The Sun (Weezer)
4) Superman (Five For Fighting)
5) Nuclear (Ryan Adams)
6) Lonely Day (Phantom Planet)
7) Fight Test (The Flaming Lips)
8) Don't Dream It's Over (Sixpence None The Richer)
9) Wave Goodbye (Steadman)
10) I Just Wanna Be Loved (AM Radio)
11) Everything (Lifehouse)
12) Time After Time (Eva Cassidy)
I can't remember what a lot of these songs sounded like but I know that I can't remember hearing a song from the show that I didn't like.
So, who else is thinking of getting this or already has a copy?

Funny that, I was looking at a copy of this in forbidden Planet yesterday. Odds on I'll buy it at some stage, just want to hear some more of the stuff on it before buying it to know if I'll like it. Odds on I will mind.
But I'm in agreement that there has been some excellent music used in Smallville. One of the more recent ones they used (and as described in the 'What are you listening to?' thread) is a track called 'Tomorrow' by SR-71, it was used in last weeks ep at the end. Has a very Linkin Park-ish sound but all in all I reckon it's very good. If the album has anything like this (Or Dishwalla's 'Angels and Devils') then I'll be well impressed.

I will get it eventually. I'm a bit miffed that they didn't have The Calling on it since their songs were on it twice. Perhaps they thought they would subisitute them for Lifehouse since some of their members left TC for them (yes i'm bitter)
