Limp Bizkit pull out of Download
LB have pulled out of the Download festival this year.
They stated that they need to use the time 'working on their new material'
However according to their official website they said that they will play a free show later in the year....yeah right.

I thought this might happen.
I heard the rumours that they were going to play as an offical act, and seeing as they were being put around by reputable sources, I fell for it.
However I also then took as gospel when the organiser point blank denied they would be there and issued an official statement saying so.
I should have known better. It was always going to be highly unlikely that they would be here purely to do a TV spot (Which was done last night for C4 at the Riverside Studios in London)

*still crying*
Apparently what has happened is that because Metallica are under contract to Mean Fiddler for Leeds/Reading the festival organisers couldn't announce them as being there. Instead they announced Apocalyptica (which I actually missed) who are a cello quartet who have covered a number of Metallica songs in the past. Obviously Metallica took their place at the last minute; the set was meant to be about 45 minutes long
