Dad's downloaded a couple of versions of it... not impressed with it, the original's style of music just doesn't match the lyrics (for me) although I do like the style of music, might listen to some more of their stuff

Sorry but I've never heard of the guy. Got Donnie Darko on DVD though, so might have to go through it with a fine toothcomb.

I wouldn't have chased it up but I bought Acoustic 3 and it has his version of Mad World on it, then I recognised it from Donnie Darko. I think Mad World is used at the end of DD.

Yep. It's right at the end, the last song before the credits I believe. I could be more specific but it would ruin the end for anyone who hasn't seen it, so..
