Ritual de la habitual is superb album, with a brilliant middle - Obvious, Been caught stealing, three days, then she did. An album to buy because of "been caught stealing" and play because of "three days".

Just been pricing up Strays in various places and noticed that play.com have Ritual de la habitual + Nothings Shocking for 12 quid (as part of their any two from loads of albums for 12 quid) for people with a Jane's Addiction shaped hole in their CD pile.

Has anyone heard the All-American Rejects song "Swing Swing"? It's on Scuzz and Kerrang etc fairly frequently and to me at least is almost unsettlingly catchy..

I'm assuming that's the one I've heard on the radio a few times (I never catch the name of it), and it's pretty cool. It is very catchy, though only for the immediate future, after about half an hour I forget it again. At the moment I'm trying for the life of me to remember how it goes, but I can't...

Ahhhh.... the Guns n' Roses era....

For some odd reason I've been listening to Blink 182 all day today. If I'm still doing it tomorrow someone shoot me

I hope you haven't got the same song on repeat besides you are not allowed to be shot until Sunday

And weeks later I am *still* listening to the 12 stones album

I've got three tunes looping round my brain at the moment, two that I'm perfectly happy with ("Solitude Standing" by Suzanne Vega, and Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" ), and one I'm less impressed by ("Fly on the wings of Love" by nobody that matters). Ah well, at least I've got decent backing music two thirds of the time.

Yeah, it has grown on me actually. At first i thought "hmmm" and now it's grown on me. My mum bought me with the single and i have to say i didn't like the other two tracks on it. I heard a bit of the album in Florida and wasn't impressed - might have to download some to decide

It's so strange, as soon as I read that post I got an email from a friend asking if I wanted to go to see them at the Carling Academy this Nov.

I've only heard a few songs but I like what I've heard so far- of course I'm just an emo kid if my friends are to be believed...

Still listening a lot to old Van Halen (old VH music, not old VH people), just love "Fair Warning" at the moment, fantastic guitar sound.

I also have Kip Winger's two solo cd's in my discman a lot too (This Conversation Seems Like A Dream, and Songs From The Ocean Floor)
