It's less than 24 hours until I go to hyde park to see the mighty Jovi
so altogether know SHOT THRU THE HEART AND YOUR TO BLAME ...........

As a totally impartial person who is not going, I have to say two things,
1 - Have you guys ripping out guts and things ever listened to music?
2 - Do we really have to rub it in?

1 - Yes, which is why I choose not to listen to Bon Jovi.

T'was good.
Can't knock the band for their work ethic. They were on stage for the better part of 3 hours and they brought Ray Davies on stage to do Lola which was fun.
The only real downer which Gooner & I discussed as we were leaving was that Hyde Park as a venue was awful, there was (obviously) nothing to help the sound and the only speakers where right at the front. So, for those of us who positioned ourselves near the 3 big video screens which had been errected about half way, seeing wasn't a problem but it would have worked better with some extra speakers for the guys further back.

I liked the early Bon Jovi stuff, but have to say after the Faith album I never bought anything else as it all started sounding similar and getting a bit with the cheesy ballads

I was talking to a friend at work about this concert cos she was there. She said it was fantastic. She gave me a copy of the setlist which had been printed on their website and it did indeed sound very cool. I quite wish I could have gone.

Yeah I thought it was great, apart from I'm a teeny person so for most of it I couldn't see what was going on as I had this huge guy in front of me, so then I sat on someones shoulders and I was okay
I'd never seen them before, and it was one of the better concerts i've been to.
