Thought i'd post this cos i know a few people like the band. They seemed nice and the new bassist fits in so perfectly!

It may run a bit weird mainly because Parry decided to conduct the interview and be me and also chose the questions. I woulda liked to ask a few more about the music.

WhatÂ’s your name and what instrument do you play?
Steve: IÂ’m Steve and I play drums in a band called Nerf Herder.
Ben: Hi, IÂ’m Ben and I play bass in Nerf Herder.
Dave: Oh IÂ’m Dave and I play guitar.
Parry: Ok, and IÂ’m Parry and I play guitar and sing.

How did you all meet?
Parry: Err, we met at the supermarket or some place like that. [laughs]

Describe your style in 3 words.
Parry: Weezer. Rip-off. Band. [laughs]

What made you start a band?
Ben: Listening to Kiss as a little boy.

Why do you think you will succeed?
Steve: [laughs] We donÂ’t think weÂ’ll succeed.
Parry: Why do you think weÂ’ll fail?
Ben: WeÂ’re gonna succeed in failing!

WhatÂ’s your favourite venue to play in?
Steve: It would have to be the Dome [venue they were playing that night in Morecambe] I havenÂ’t been inside it yet.
Parry:In More-comb
Ben: We love it.

Do you think your music is good enough to stand the test of time? And if so, why?
Parry: DefinitelyÂ…no.

Have you got any tattoos or piercings?
Parry: WhereÂ’s Dave?
Ben: DaveÂ’s done a runner.
Parry: I’ll answer for Dave then. [high pitched girly voice] “Well I’ve got a tattoo on my shoulder” [laughs]
Parry: [being Parry] Thank you Dave.

Parry: This oneÂ…

What did you have for breakfast?
Steve: Nothing yet.
Ben: We havenÂ’t eaten in 3 days! WeÂ’re starving!
Parry: WhatÂ’s breakfast?!

How do you eat a Crème Egg?
Ben: I just pop the little thing in my mouth and eat it until it comes out of my nose.

Do you like Pez?
Ben: Yes, I like Pez.

What do you do straight after a gig?
[laughs]
Parry: WellÂ…maybe we shouldnÂ’t really talk about that!

WhatÂ’s your favourite sandwich filling?
Parry: Now think about this one before answering.
Steve: Hmmmm, I donÂ’t know about that one.
Parry: My favourite sandwich filling is love [laughs – one of their songs is called “Love Sandwich”] I’m just kidding.

What would you do if you werenÂ’t in a band?
Steve: Wish I was in a band! [laughs]

Were you good or naughty at school?
Parry: I was good at school I guess. I wasnÂ’t very naughty.
Ben: I was naughty.
Parry: You were a naughty boy eh?!! Did you get your fingers smacked with rulers on a regular basis?
Ben: Yeah, and not just by the teachers.

Do you have girlfriends?
Steve: No.
Ben:No.
Parry: No! I donÂ’t actually have a girlfriend. I have a WIFE! We canÂ’t speak for Dave though.

Do you want to be a porn star?
Parry: No.
Steve: IÂ’m sorry; IÂ’m not equipped that way.
Ben: I am a porn star! [laughs]
