Okay, it wasn't me but someone from work bumped into Cliff Richard at Wimbledon

Guess Who I Saw On Holiday?
I was in Borders in Oxford on Wednesday and who just happened to walk right by me but Thom Yorke of Radiohead. It was definitely a double-take moment but it was definitely him and all i could think of was how dinky he was. I was wearing maybe an inch and a half heels and (making me about 5ft 7" ) and he was smaller than me. I like some of Radiohead's stuff, but seeing him gave me a little... thrill i suppose (first famous person i've seen in person) Just thought i'd share.
Anyone else have a similar encounter? Or met a famous musician?

Of course, in November, me and Spike met Avril Lavigne, albeit briefly, in Virgin Megastore in Oxford Street when she was doing a signing.

I randomly bumped into the lead singer of Violent Delight and the lead singer of Sugarcult, but no one seriously famous.

closest thing I've come to is bumping into Jayne Middlemiss on the tube a couple weeks ago.. (Ok, maybe not msuic related, but she presented the O-Zone on BBC2!

Is he still married to the girl from the North East? I forget her name but i remember there being quite a fuss about it in the papers at the time (the local papers that is)

I sat across the aisle on a plane from the lead singer of Republica.
I was doing the usual Thrusday night commute back from Amsterdam and was wondering who the incredibly scruffy looking people sitting across the aisle from me at the front of the business class section were.
When we landed at Heathrow, a colleague asked me "Do you realise who you were sitting next to?" "I did when the stewardess asked her to sign a photo... - I saw the band logo on it!"
Anyway, seemed like a nice person - she gave up her seat on the bus from the plane to the terminal building to an elderly passenger!
