David Boreanaz in Dido "White Flag" Video

Yes, he's in the video. It's on The Box (No 822) playlist and has been shown two or three times already.

Anyone else seen it?

He looks rather different than usual i think. No spiked up hair. Its rather long and the curls are returning.

Don't like the song, not a Dido fan at all, but i like the video. A lot

Gotta say, DB in a Dido vid? Sorry, but no.

Love Dido, love her voice (I have a thing for strong female vocals) but she doesn't need 'gimmicks' like that in her videos.

A question? Is he portaying a brooding/moody/slightly psychotic character at all? Not that he's type cast at all....

dido was better before the whole selling out band wagon jumoing fans stuff,...(sorry i am still bitter about it all, i got her stuff months before the uk release!!) anywho.... the songs ok i guess, not as good as some of the stuff shes done, and dave looks odd with hair cut!

To answer your question, you don't really know what kind of character he plays til the end. The two (David and Dido) keep turning around and missing each other even though they're in the same location. At the end you find out that they both have pictures of the other all around their apartments. They do make eye contact in one part of the video though.

And what's wrong with playing broody/moody slightly psychotic characters these days? at the end of the day it pays the bills and it's something he's good at

As i said, hate Dido's voice, but i like the vid for very more obvious reasons

Didn't the 'selling out' happen on (or possibly even before) her first single release? Are you saying she was only good for a few months before she'd actually released anything in the UK? And condemning UK fans for not buying her album before it was released in this country is a little harsh don't you think?

Why be bitter about it? *You* know you were into her before she got big. Live happy and proud in that knowledge. Don't let the fact that other people didn't discover her until a few months later get you down.

oh definately.

uk people in general don't lknow of good female singer songwriters beofre they make it big... i am sad to say but i love female singers, and 9/10 times get their stuff before most people uk and generally us at times have heared of them! anyay im not that bitter but you know how it goes when your fave undertgroundy bang get big and theres loads of new wannabe fans...

Hmmm.... yeah I do know what you mean. Though like I say I usually just try and be proud of the fact that I was into 'A' before they released 'Nothing'. And that I was into the Ataris before they released 'So Long Astoria'. And that I was into Marilyn Manson before they released 'The Dope Show'. And that I was into the 60 Foot Dolls... whereas no-one else has ever heard of them. etc.

I am however also well aware of the feeling of not getting to hear a band untill after they make it big. And I know that this has nothing to do with your level of commitment. I reckon I probably saw the Stereophonics live before a lot of their current fans had ever heard of them, but I certainly wouldn't claim to be a bigger fan than they were. Time is not a good scale of such things.

Also, it's not really fair to say that the whole of the British population is bad at 'knowing good female singer/songwriters before they make it big'. For a start it's a whole hind-sight issue. You can know as many good female singer/songwriters as you like, but there's so many out there that only a few will actually make it big.

But anyhoo, surely I'm done ranting now... I know it's certainly past my bed-time...
