Radio Sunnydale

At last!!! Another Buffy album. Did anyone know this was due to be released?

I saw a trailer for it on TV at the weekend and that was the first I'd heard of it. Did a quick search on Play and didn't think it looked that good... then I realised I was looking at the Import version with 12 tracks. Hopped over to Amazon and have found the UK version with a much more respectable number of tracks.

No Michelle Branch tho'

I still think that the Powers that Be missed a trick by not doing an album per season for Buffy.

The UK one has more songs than the US version, but the US one has some Sarah Maclaughlin (sp?) song that's not on the UK version.

I wonder which I'll be buying

There's probably no Michelle Branch for the same reason there's no Coldplay, etc...they're too big and the cost of getting the rights to those songs would probably mean having to leave out a number of other tracks.

Only thing I'm curious about is the track listed as

Season 1 Score - Chris Beck

seeing as he didn't score season 1...

I ended up getting both versions of this, although I don't think that either are as good as the first album. I think its got something to do with the Bronze not featuring as prominently in the seasons covered by 'Radio Sunnydale'.

They miss out good songs that I would have loaved to have seen on the album - mostly ones from the earlier seasons though. However, I do still like the album, as it covers a wider range of music that the first one. I have a feeling I'm going to be playing the UK version a lot more though...I'm now dying to get hold of anything I can by the Dashboard Prophets!

I'm hoping to go on a download rampage when I get my computer running again from home and I want to get some songs from certain eps of Buffy and Angel...I was wondering if theirs a site somewhere that lists the music used in each episode...I've seen a site that does it for Dawson's Creek but not for Buffy. Help??
