The support ended up being Start and Rufio and they both seemed ok despite not being able to hear half the lyrics (maybe I *am* getting old )
Did anyone else actually make any of the gigs?

Yup, I went. Missed the first support act, saw Rufio but didn't really think a great deal of them. The Offspring were fantastic though, I really was surprised at how much I enjoyed them despite not actually knowing that much of their stuff. But I thought it was a really cool gig.
It also helped restore my appetite for a good mosh, which I've not really done for quite a while (and which has now left me with a bruised rib after moshing at Goldfinger the following night...). This gig was also the closest I've ever been to the stage at Wembley before ever! And walking out of the arena and into snow was just a cool end to the night (even if it was pretty cold on my already drenched body)!

Rufio were a bit of a funny mix, the guitarists never stood still once and the mosh crowd seemed to follow suit for jumping up and down and being foolish
I quite liked Start as it was a female singer in the band. She sounded like she had potential, but the problem was either the sound quality was set up really bad, or after a while it just seemed like she was singing the same stuff.
I was crowd watching for the PoF, but you obviously weren't wearing your boa that night
