Offspring's 'Want You Bad' works for me. I've loved that ever since the first time I heard it on my way to the 2001 SHP.

I have two... (I would!)
One is a Welsh pop song, called Calon (Heart), by a band called Diffiniad - really happy lovey song.
The other is Son of a Preacherman by Dusty Springfield. I can be in the middle of a conversation about anything, and the minute the first bars come on I am totally lost, I start dancing and smiling and nothing can get me back!

Offspring's 'Want You Bad' works for me.
'We can't rewind' by Feeder and 'the middle' by j.e.w because they're MY songs hehe, they mean loads to me so they always make me smile! x
There's probably loads if I sat down and thought about it properly.
However, at the moment, I'd have to plump for Ash - Burn, Baby, Burn.
Not only is it a great song in it's own right but it reminds me of great Nos nights and N3K because it was the backing music to one of the videos that Sector14 knocked together with clips from Buffy and 'Bring It On'.
It takes me back to a great convention in June 2001 and what a great atmosphere there was and everyone had a great time. It was also the place where I got my picture taken with Joss Whedon and Amber Benson, the latter, of which, sits proudly on my profile on this very site.

My nominations:
Sweet Child O' Mine, Guns N' Roses
When Tomorrow Comes, The Eurythmics
Thunder Road, Bruce Springsteen
Gary Oldman's take on Sid Vicious's take on "My Way", and "Under the Milky Way Tonight" from the Donnie Darko soundtrack are my current faves.
How did I manage to forget The Cure's "Mint Car" (which I just got again on the greatest hits cd)!?!

Transvision Vamp - Baby I Don't Care!
Gary Oldman did a cover of My Way when he was starring in the film Sid and Nancy. Personally I'm not overly keen on it, it's a bit tepid, there's no energy to it. But for geeky fact-fans (of which I am one ), it's this version that Spike's listening to in his car as he leaves Sunnydale at the end of Lover's Walk in series 3.
