McQueen... No, not Steve!
I'm talkin' the hot variety!
After seeing them live at the Mean fiddlers rock night last Friday, I've instantly become a massive fan of theirs. They hail from Brighton and are currently unsigned.
With this though, they are the top played unsigned British act in the US right now. Buzz also seems to be getting bigger by the day. Apart from The Donnas, I'm not aware of any other all female group to get this kind of reaction.

If you fancy another taste they're playing the Barfly on August 10th and the Garage on September 5th.
Posted: 10:27 Aug 07 2005 I'm temted, but I saw the stagetimes for them somewhere and it's ridiculous! They aren't on stage till something like 10pm. That pretty much rules me out dude

Their set probably only lasts an hour at the most though, so I doubt it'll go on any later than normal gigs.

I'm tempted by the Garage gig, but it looks like a showcase event type thing with other artists...
BTW, Aloud say it's 'Upstairs at the Garage', I didn't even know there was an upstairs!

I've just had a look at the offical site the girls are seriously kicking ass! They seem to be taking America by storm and are headlinging a few shows of their own. Most notable at LA's Viper Room. They were also offered to sipport Juliette and the Licks for their full tour, but scheduling conflicts stopped that.
