I've only just found this out, but it seems that Mike Shinoda (one-half of Linkin Park's mighty vocal talent) has a bit of a side-project going on. As far as I can tell, Fort Minor is Mike's solo project, but also has a variety of guest artists contributing (a bit like Dave Grohl's Probot I'm guessing). Where it differs from Linkin Park is that it is straight up Hip-Hop, as opposed to LP's hybrid rap-rock thing...

I've listened to a few tracks on their website, and they seem pretty cool. I'm not really the best judge though as I'm not actually a big fan of the genre. So check it out yourself and make your own minds up.

If you're interested they're playing London's Mean Fiddler on the 14th of November and their debut album 'The Rising Tied' is released on the 22nd of November.
