Black metal? *shakes head and runs*
In a break from normal programming...
We all go on about current big name bands that are doing the rounds etc. But at the end of the day, we shouldn't forget about the newbies, starting out into one helluva world. They are what our kids will be listening to right?
I've caught wind about a prety cool metal (kinda) festival being held at the Purple Turtle in Camden on the 29th of April. It is the 3rd annual Infernal Damnation Fest and it's got a shed load of bands listed, check them out at www.arcanepromotions.co.uk/events.html and it's the 2nd event down.

okies my contributions:
Baby Bitch ( www.myspace.com/babybitchrules ) my mummy went to go see them on saturday and has sent me the CD and I'm loving them. Apparently the singer came up to her and introduced himself and was "very lovely and polite" so he gets the thumbs up in her book lol. like glam rock ish
They were supporting Uncle Fester (aka UFX) ( www.myspace.com/httpmyspacecomubeenfesterd ) who are lovely guys and they're kinda old school lol

Okey dokey, here's another one:
King Lizard (website)
A nice slab of old-school 80's-inspired rock/metal, which is surely the building blocks of civilisation itself! They're kind of a friend-of-a-friend's band, though they're probably better known now for the lead singer being a cameraman for Quiz Mania. Lol! They're doing a gig tonight at the Metro club in London, which I'm hoping to make it along to.
