I bought this on Wednesday, but haven't actually got round to listening to it yet... Might stick it on later on tonight...
Kerrang - Remastered
Do we have any Kerrang! readers in the house?
Reason I say is that this weeks issue comes with a CD containing 6 Metallica track covers by some of todays best selection of metal bands. I've just listened to it, and am positively blown away!
The tracklist is as follows:
1. Machine Head - Battery
2. Trivium - Master of Puppets
3. Mendeed - The Thing That Should Not Be
4. Bullet For My Valentine - Wlecome home (Sanitarium)
5. Chimaira - Disposable Heroes
6. Fightstar - Leper Messiah
7. Mastodon - Orion (Instrumental)
8. Funeral For A Friend - Damage, Inc.
The shock stars of this CD are Fightstar & FFAF. Without a doubt they annihilated their chosen tracks and have seriously made an impact with Metallica fans alike.
Trivium did well, but they didn't really make it 'them' so to speak. They did however make a frickin' good go at it and it is currently cranked to 11 on the stereo
