Muse - Black Holes and Revelations

Muse unleash their fourth studio album this Monday, 3rd of July (or 11th of July in the US). But being the jolly nice chaps that they are they've put the whole thing up on their MySpace page for people to listen to.

I've only listened to the first couple of tracks so far but it sounds pretty cool.

ive seen muse twice (neither time were they the main reason i was there...), and both times, to quote bart simpson, they both sucked AND blowed!!
so, as you can imagine, them unleashing another album on the world hardly fills me with joy.
just hope i dont hear anything from this - matt bellamys voice makes me want to rip out my eardrums - hell, id rather listen to steps...

Well obviously, who wouldn't? But that's hardly a fair comparison, even The Beatles would have a hard time following Steps...

I saw Muse live about a year and a half ago and thought that they rocked the casbah! I'm very much looking forward to seeing them at Reading this year.

what i meant was - steps also make me want to remove my eardrums - but nowhere near as badly as muse do...

Ive never been a massive Muse fan but i love Matt Bellamys voice, its amazing.

And it helps that he hot

I'm listening to it right now. It's certainly made more of an impact that the previous efforts have on their first listen, that's for sure.

Miss Corrupt That deaf, dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball!

As they admit themselves, Muse are either one of those bands you love or hate. If I had to name my top 30 favourite songs, alot of theirs would be in there.

Haven't listened to the new album yet, only Supermassive Black Hole. I saw Muse at V festival a few years ago and also Earls Court and both times I thought they were absoloutely mind blowing. They were both those types of gigs where you only know one or two songs, but they still kept me really interested.

So I'll definately be buying the new album!

Is that right? HMV say the single is out Monday 3rd but the album not till August...

I love it, glad they are back! Although some of it sounds quite similar, I still really like it. 8/10 from me!
