I saw the title and thought 'That was a bit careless of them'
Arctic Monkeys Lose Bassist
It's been announced (well, actually it was last week) that AM bassist, Andy Nicholson has left the band on a permanent basis. Initially he had to take a back seat whilst on the bands US tour after being hit with exhaustion due to constant touring.
On the tour his spot was filled by long time friend of the band, Nick O' Malley, and it shall be him taking Andys place permanently.
I saw on MTV last night that the remaining members "Don't think it will change the band really... uhhh... we'll just have to see really"
Make of that what you will lol.

I've found they are a "love them or hate them" type band.
Personally, I dont think there is anything wrong with them though. I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor has to be one of the best tracks of the year imo.
I stand by my decision to use that in the closing of the G-Party lol.

I think "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" is a damn cool song and as good a dancefloor track as you could ask for. The rest of the album I was seriously underwhelmed by.
They seriously don't deserve any of the way OTT hype they got, but hey it's not like they're the first band to do it, The Strokes did they exact same thing about 5 years ago for a start...
