Rock Star : Supernova
This show has got me excited already and I've not even seen it yet 
Premieres in the US on July 6th (?) and we get it on Sky One on July 10th.
It's the second season of the show that found the new singer of INXS ::cough:: Don't hold that against it.
Confirming executive producer Mark Burnett's Monday comments, CBS has announced that this summer's second Rock Star edition will look for a lead singer for a new band comprised of former Motley Crüe drummer (and NBC reality show star) Tommy Lee, former Metallica guitarist Jason Newsted, and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke.
Calling themselves Supernova, the trio will follow the same path as first season band INXS, using Rock Star to determine who will be the group's lead singer and then head into the studio to record an album and launch a world tour.
"Last year, doing Rock Star: INXS was the greatest summer job of my life," returning Rock Star co-host Dave Navarro stated. "This year, I'm on the couch with my friends Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke and Jason Newsted as they choose Supernova's lead singer."
BTW, Tommy Lee is not the FORMER drummer in Motley Crue, he still is the drummer

No me and alex went to his gig

I knew I'd heard about this somewhere but couldn't remember where! Lol! Thanks Katie! Yeah, that does sound like an awesome show (and potentially a damn cool band). Sadly I don't have Sky so I won't see it unless I get round to downloading it each week.

Really pissed that Sky have moved this from Sky One to Sky Three!
Turns out NTL don't have sky three so we missed last week's (where apparently Chris got kicked out - but I decided he was useless compared to the others anyway)
Thank you to Teresa for taping it this week, just watched last nights and I'm still blown away by both Lucas and Delina
I still don't think Dana can cut it for the band. Was pleased to see Jenny go this week as I think she was the weakest girl. I'm thinking Ryan will be the next one out.
Addicted? Hell yeah!

Im gutted it moved to sky 3 too, wtf is that about?
My friend at work is taping them for me but i missed chris going out, which was sucky as i wanted to laugh at him.

I was quite surprised (and pleased) to see it in my freeview listings the other night. I assumed it was a repeat though rather than it being moved. So yeah, I saw my first episode recently and quite enjoyed it. Though having not seen any before I don't know who any of the people are.

All you need to know is that Lucas and Dilana are the King and Queen of attitude and stage presence.
I've just finishing watching the tape of week 4 (thanks T
) and whilst Phil wasn't the best singer by far he isn't the worst. They are only keeping Zayra to watch her butt and figure I'm sure because the girl sure can't sing rock or manage to hold a note whilst prancing about the stage!
Although I didn't think Storm's vocals were very good this week, but those eyes are brainwashingly mesmerising, her expression and hair is beautiful and I've found out that's she's 6 foot tall! Trying not to be jealous of her amazon looks.
Everytime Magni sings he reminds me of Tad .....

Now if the voting was reversed and people could vote for who they wanted *off* I bet she'd be the next out. Or even if the UK could vote at all 
The gold outfit was horrific with bones poking through! *shudder*
I'm still routing for Dilana. I think Lukas has the stage presence, but his voice is very samey. Storm isn't as stunning to watch since Supernova have been making comments about her crazy eye-thing and she's tried not doing it.
Magni is starting to impress with his voice though, but doesn't cut it on stage performance. Ryan is stepping up, but I don't see him fronting that particular band.

I still think Storm is stunning 
I don't like Magni, just for the way he acted in the songwriting exercise. I think Ryan would do very well if he came out of his shell a little.
