As unlikely as it sounds (I was shocked when I first heard), Rage Against the Machine have reformed!

They are confirmed to headline the Coachella festival in California in April, and sources close to the band say that this is "definitely not a one-off".

Whatever this means... a tour, another album, whatever... it's exciting times for the many fans of a band who've influenced no end of other musicians around today.

I will certainly be hoping to catch them if they play in the UK again. Their live shows were apparently some of the best and most exciting rock shows ever.
